We're a bunch of disgruntled PuTTY users who eventually got too fed up over the numerous accidental paste accidents that PuTTY users are prone to. So we decided to do something about it. Then we decided that as long as we have the PuTTY source on the surgery table we might as well stick in some of our less important wishlist items as well.
Why is it called SSHeed? Well, Cyb, who is known to make many typos in chat, one time typed "sheed gaskujem" instead of "sheet [of paper] has like". Now we refer to all Cyb-style typos as sheeds. Naming this PuTTY source fork after his most memorable typo seemed fitting.
